Complete ‘Building Surveys’ carried out for multiple unique residential units in Greater Manchester. James Scott Associates were engaged to undertake full fabric building surveys of the whole development. We used our trusty drone surveyor to carry out fantastic footage of roofs and elevations.
The development was designed and constructed with modern methods of construction. Constructed with a light gauge steel frame.
What is light gauge steel construction?
Light gauge steel construction is a type of construction that uses thin sheets of steel to create a frame for a building. The steel sheets are usually between 0.5 and 1.5 millimeters thick and are formed into shapes such as C-sections, Z-sections, and U-sections.
These sections are then bolted or welded together to form the frame of the building. Light gauge steel construction is often used for residential and commercial buildings, as it is lightweight, strong, and cost.
